Monthly check-in meetings for international doctoral students

Dear Doctoral Students, you are warmly invited to join our monthly check-in meetings for international doctoral students - a welcoming space to stay connected with the doctoral community, raise questions, and share your experiences of studying and living in Latvia.

Upcoming check-in meetings:

• 30 October at 15:00 (Riga local time)
• 27 November at 15:00 (Riga local time)
• 18 December at 15:00 (Riga local time)

These informal gatherings are an opportunity to exchange insights, receive guidance, and connect with peers and the Doctoral School team.
Please note that participation in these check-in meetings is mandatory for students from third countries. According to national legislation, the University is required to maintain regular contact, monitor your study progress, and be able to provide information about your study engagement and place of residence at any given time. Your participation helps us fulfil these obligations and ensures that your student status remains fully compliant with the regulations. If, however, you are unable to attend any of these check-in meetings, please inform me in advance.
