CONFERENCEAdmission to doctoral studies for the 2026/2027 academic year is governed by programme-specific requirements, comprising both general admission criteria and conditions particular to each individual programme. Prospective applicants are invited to review the requirements applicable to their programme of interest.
Please note: In accordance with Section 57, Paragraph 4 of the Law on Institutions of Higher Education of the Republic of Latvia, the right to pursue doctoral studies is granted to individuals holding a Master's degree, provided that the total volume of their full-time second-cycle studies completed after the attainment of secondary education amounts to no less than 300 ECTS and five years of study.

- Second-cycle higher education (Master's degree) in social sciences, specifically in economics and business, legal science, educational sciences, psychology, or occupational safety, or a recognised equivalent qualification;

- A Master's degree in natural sciences or engineering sciences, or a recognised equivalent qualification, held by an applicant with a minimum of two years of professional experience in organisational or institutional management.

Accepted evidence of language proficiency includes the following qualifications:
